Born on December 21, 1970, in Nagain, Bihar, Shri Upendra Singh grew up in a humble farming family. Moving to Chaibasa in 1979 for his studies, this region became the foundation of his lifelong mission.
His approach is unique: before transforming schools, he transforms himself — learning Bengali at his first posting, and the tribal Ho language at Tangrai, to connect deeply with his students.
